Noah Rosenberg, Narratively
Noah Rosenberg, the founder of Narratively, has played numerous roles for his venture:
- Visionary who came up with the idea and found others interested in joining him to work on it.
- Editor who commissioned and edited some of the work that people started submitting to his site.
- Deal-maker who negotiated with partners who wanted to syndicate his content, who wanted him to create custom content, and who wanted the opportunity to turn some of his content into stories for TV and film.
- Human resources director, who had to decide who to hire, how much to pay people, and how to run the organization.
- Marketing director, who figured out how to raise the profile of this new content brand.
Running a startup venture entails wearing many different hats, often at the same time, even if you have little experience playing those roles.
