Make a list of five characteristics that you have, personality or character traits. These could be things that others have noticed or that you yourself feel are aspects of who you are.

Make a list of five things you feel strongly about or have clear preferences about. Think more broadly than a particular TV show or food type. For instance, think in terms of learning style, communication preferences or world views.
Education, Expertise and Experience

Make a list of five skills that you have. If you’re not sure what skills to include, ask two people who know you well to make a list for you.

Make a list of five things that you know something about.

Make a list of five experiences you’ve had that have helped inform who you are.
Network

Make a list of five of your most valued personal contacts, people you trust and can talk with about anything from life choices to professional decisions.

Make a list of five of your most valuable professional contacts, people you trust to talk with, email or call with a question.
